Apart from going out beyond the garden gate to bring in the buckets - and the first emptied glass recycling bucket! - and the Thursday clap I spent most of the day weeding. The back garden has never been so weed free. The grass has been trimmed within an inch of its life. So all ready for planting out tomorrow before the colder weather returns.

Despite cloud and the occasional smurr of rain, it was mild and lovely to be outdoors.

These tulips in a tub are different to most others I have with their pointed leaves.

Had a family zoom meeting. Those in England talked of flags and bunting out for VE Day but I'm not aware of such decorations around us.
