VE DAY AND WHAT A SURPRISE.

Left early for the canal this special day, and was really thrilled  to see the cygnets had hatched. Very hard to get a photo as they are below a bridge and you have to try and get the camera between the metal bars. There were (I think 8 eggs), someone said there were 6 babies, but I think I could count 7. Fingers crossed that these beautiful little babies survive. The mum looked so proud.
The sun is shinning on another lovely day, hope we can all celebrate VE day safely in our homes. Thank you to all that served.
