Rooftop Perch.

I happened to look out of the kitchen window just as this bird alighted on the roof opposite. I opened the window, grabbed the camera and got only this one shot before it flew away. It looks like my dove of the 23rd January, but it has been suggested it's a wood pigeon. I wish I knew a bit more about birds, but I am a Townie! Although the sun is out and the sky is pale blue, the picture is edited to make the bird a little more prominent.
