VE Day

A day of missed opportunities, I was to slow to snap a tree keeper , while chasing it I missed three Mallards taking off in formation, then there were the two pairs of Bullfinches, again too slow. I did however spot a rusty gate on a derelict property with a metal piper in the middle which was evocative of the faceless pipers leading men into battle in both wars.
