i'm taking a break from my normal blipping routine and from now until i leave i will be posting portraits of the people that i love here in zambia. i might put them all together at the end to make a mammoth picture to hang on my wall, but mostly they will stay here on blip so i can remember these lovely people.

constance was one of my first friends in zambia as we were both staying at kaniki bible college when i arrived in january 2010. we quickly became friends and we enjoyed our monday nshima nights together, mostly with me grilling her on all aspects of zambian culture. she was the first (of many) people who has tried to teach me bemba, rather unsuccessfully, due to no fault of hers.

more than that though, constance has a been a steady, dependable friend, always ready to pray with me if i needed it. a wonderful woman and a great friend.
