V E Day

75th Anniversary marking the end of world war 2.H was born in Cornwall and I in wales during the war.a change in the weather today back to rain.i have made a sponge slice ,topped with jam and coconut. It will make a few nights desserts with custard.also made a fruit cake I wanted to use the dried fruit and chopped almonds left from Christmas. I manage to get a delivery slot with Tesco for this evening .
