VE Day at a distance.

Popped to see my parents earlier and they have gone to town with the decorations. As I type they'll be having a suitably spaced afternoon tea with all the neighbours in the close. Hope dad puts his hearing aids in else it will be a very loud afternoon tea as everyone will have to shout at him!

I did their shopping earlier and mum had pâté on her list but the butcher had none left, so in the spirit of all this wartime remembrance I got them potted beef instead!

I other news, to type this Blip I've learnt that if you hold down on the Mac keyboard on the letter you want to type a little menu pops up with all the various accents. Very handy.
