stopping and stepping

opened the bedroom curtains to the rumble of the lime spreader disappearing up the field...hoped to get a close up on return but the driver stopped then stepped with big strides in several directions for about ten minutes??? ..when he drove near at last my shot was blocked by trees before he turned and drove away out of sight....och well it was an early blip if a bit baffling
