Carpet Beetle?

I managed to get one in-focus shot of this tiny (2mm) creature before it flew off.... if I'd known what it was before hand it wouldn't have been so lucky! Guess I'd better keep an eye out for them in case they are trying to eat me out of house and home (literally). My vacuum cleaner chose today to finally pack up after 18 years or so of sterling service... I wonder if these things are connected!
