VE Day

We found a lady decorating her house for VE Day two streets over from us. It looked brilliant. She was quite happy for me to take a photo and post it on here. When we were sitting in the garden later we could here what sounded like a street party. They were socially distancing this morning so I assume they stayed in their own space. I was secretly envious. There was nothing in our road that we could see. We printed out a Union Jack and a line saying ‘VE Day, marking 75 years since the end of WW2’ and put it in the window. Mr M said his mother told him they did the Conga in and out of the houses on the terrace on VE Day.
