May 8th 75 years ago

75 years since the Liberation day 1945. The flag was up at our summehouse today. A friend of mine informed me that a picture of my father and his resistance group taken on this day 1945, was in the local newspaper, at the place I grew up. He would have been 101 years old in a few months. 75 years in peace in our part of the world. We have a lot to be thankful for. Sad to think of all the others that have suffered and those who still suffer in wars since then. Wish you a nice weekend.
