Celebrating VE Day

What a wonderful day for celebration- lots of bunting and flags in our village and a lovely party atmosphere in our close where lots of families sat outside on their drives and played Glenn Millar .
We stood for the 2 minutes silence outside Sherborne Abbey near the war memorial where they played the last post- it was really moving .
