Floating homes on the vast Tonle Sap Lake can be a day's travel from the nearest health outpost. Poor families cannot afford the medical costs to see a doctor, nor the fuel to get there.
IMPACT's local partner operates a boat clinic providing a lifeline to 12,000 people in far out villages. The crew's doctor, nurse and midwife also make referrals for specialist treatment and surgery.
