VE Day

Although you can’t see much on this shot, the flags were out on our street today.
As 4pm approached, neighbours were getting tables, chairs and afternoon tea things out as we celebrated VE Day.
I’ve never been involved in a street party before. So pleased we live in a sociable street with lovely neighbours.
Grateful to all those who served this country all those years ago and for those who serve us today.
