i tried to get a flower moon shot but failed despite staying up to give it a go.

happy event:  met Yovanni and Alberto to lend some gardening tools.  they hail from Cuba and Spain, and are going to grow veggies while they wait for the end of lockdown.  they also want to practise their English, so i hope to see them regularly for sitting out and having a chat.

i think this is the highlight of my week.
am going to peruse Cuban recipes and tapas!

tonight i'm cooking:  duck, roasted new potatoes with peaches (don't ask - it was a mistake!),  & baby courgettes.
