Walk in Styal

Today is quite a busy day and with the weather expected to deteriorate by mid morning I headed out early to Styal for a quick walk. This picturesque village was built for the workers of Quarry Bank Mill by Samuel Greg and is still a thriving community today.

My mind must be on other things as this is the best I could achieve in the short time I had. That said, for me it still makes a pretty wee picture.
