We had to show a bit of patriotism today! 75 years ago my two grandfathers were owners of grocery shops so didn’t go to war and my parents were too young. However both of my grandparents fought in WW1, whilst only just old enough (one fibbed by a couple of years about his age as he was too young!). A somber day for reflecting and grateful to all those who gave their lives and continue to this day to give their lives to a completely different war.
