Lockdown day 56
After our hour's walk this morning, we shared one of the two chocolate croissant treats we bought yesterday morning. Even better on the 2nd day!
Then a call with friend and blipper Undercovercairo, zooming in from Muscat. As I was getting ready for the call, I wondered what news we'd caught up on last time we spoke and then realised that because almost all of our social calls take place in the same place it's more difficult to remember what you've told to whom. You'd normally think, ah yes, the last time we met we went here or there, ate this or that, walked along that street etc. I think I'll try and change where we sit when we have those catch up calls.
Rest of the day? Cheese toasties with homemade coleslaw for lunch on the patio, some emailing and online learning, some housework (not too much), gave my free English class at 5pm (so I can practice the online tools, apps etc) clapping on the balcony at 8 and then finished our homemade soup with bread for dinner. Heard that a good friend of mine had just lost her job in the British Council Singapore. Her contract wasn't renewed. I'd read that the BC worldwide were struggling but she was the first casualty in my personal network.
My blip's Undercovercairo in our patio room :-) Thanks Bb for taking the pic.
