Spring Snow

I woke up to a fairy land today. Makes me so grateful to live in a  rural area. I could see bobcat paw prints in the side yard and turkey tracks behind the house. 

I  had four Dwarf Crab Apple trees planted here two decades ago. They represent one for each of the Newfoundland dogs I have had. I still need to plant a tree for my Labrador, Isabelle. She has been gone a year now. She was the best dog I have ever known and probably the last dog I will ever share my home with. I am thinking seriously of getting a couple of kittens next year. For now it is going to stay just me and my house and my work.
