White Horses
If you are of a certain age you should now have that music running through your head (may be gender specific).
At 4 a.m. this morning (too much food, and rose from a very long Wine o'Clock Zoom) I reached a momentous decision. I've said this a couple of tomes but going for a walk with no purpose or reason doesn't work for me. This means I have only had 3 maybe 4 of my daily GMW (Government Mandated Walk) quota since I got home over 3 weeks ago, However, at 4 a.m. I decided to repurpose them, no longer GMW but now SRE (Swimming Replacement Exercise) and I will try to take this at the same time as my habitual visits to the pool to resurrect my routine. So this morning I set off at 8.30 for a lovely walk along Braid Hills Road, in the warm sunshine. The timing has the added benefit of there not being many people around. The views across the city were lovely as was the scent of the gorse, in full bloom.
Back home for breakfast and then a Spooky Singlet that was interrupted by the arrival of A to fix my cistern, a washer was required.
The sun has now gone and we are awaiting the North wind and drop in temperature so I'm not sure if continuing with planting is a good idea.
23 days gone, ? to go.
