Happy Mothers' Day

Looking back earlier in the week Gracie Tt and I were outside cutting down dried ornamental grasses in the sunshine. I think the blip is 4th of May.
And here we are this morning a Silly Saturday gift of three inches of snow last night and another two to three predicted for today.
I cover my prized Princess Alexandra of Kent with rugs at night. this morning I shook off the snow so she could have some sunlight. It is only +1ºC /33ºF just before noon here. Unbelievable!!
Alas, all my lilac bushes have been blasted. No lilacs this year. Sad. The birds are sating like crazy.
I think our heating season will go to the end of May. Old Timers have told me stories about late frosts and snow in the past. I just have not seen it happen since living here in the Catskills.
