In The Frame

At last some leaves are beginning to appear on a few trees. I liked the twisty shape of a slender ash set between two of its straighter brethren. The tall format of the frame seems to emphasizes their height and how they dominate the younger tree.

This evening dark clouds covered the sky, with slender patches of bright sun creeping through. I found it hard to decide and describe the colour of the clouds: blue, purple or magenta. In the end I seemed to settle on warmer tones.
