Bogbean

These have suddenly flowered in the last couple of days.  

I also saw my first damselflies of the year on the pond today - both red and blue.  One pair of red damselflies were ovipositing in the pond, and were threatened by what looked like a small snake - no photo of course, but probably a young grass snake, since I know they are quite happy in water.

And in extras - competitive flour purchasing!  All from our local farm shop, which was well stocked with all types of flour when I visited today, though I had to queue for quite a while to get in there.  Mind you - it wasn't cheap!
