Dragonfly

Not a very good photo I'm afraid, as this camera isn't particularly efficient at zooming in, but I wanted to record this large blue dragonfly that was around the pond today. Every time I tried to get closer it flew off. .....pretty good to see it though along with several of the small red damselflies.
Very, very hot today even through the haze, and it is clouding over now in anticipation of much cooler weather for the next few days.
Plants watered, my runner beans are up.....yay,  now for a luxurious bath, a G&T and a chicken Tikka curry.....it's the little things that count :)
