Early rose

Our yellow rose, Golden Showers, is always the first to flower, but I don’t remember it ever flowering this early. It is hardly surprising, after a relatively mild winter and the recent hot spells. There are colourful buds on other roses too. So welcome.
Another hot day. Normous shopped in the village before there were many people out and about. Another leisurely day which included a Zoom session with Normous’ brother and his family, spread between, Colorado, Scotland and various places in England. They always have a lot to say.
