Reflections and Confessions

Read about the Japanese concept of Ikigai recently which inspired me to take photos with a real camera again. Used to feel depressed whenever my own relatives do not get me as their photographer for events but then I realized that my service fee has become expensive considering other merchant rates.

Photography, like life, surely has its ups and downs yet remembering that it is above all else a conduit to reach out to the world, a way of looking beyond one's self and a way of appreciating both dark and light, makes it worthwhile.
