sunshine !

At last a day of bright skies and sunlight. And it was nice to feel well enough for a wander in the garden.
Spring is quietly stirring despite everything. I found hellebores in plenty and flowering quince and crocuses, and leaves bursting out on clematis, and honeysuckle and swelling buds on lots of things.
I love this cornelian cherry (Cornus mas) though, its tiny delicate flowers were glowing in the sunshine.
