Working in the Digital Archive

Spent some time today in the Pennine Horizons Digital Archive at the Birchcliffe Centre, Hebden Bridge.
This is a blip of fellow volunteer archivists digitising photographs, slides, glass plates as well as cassette tapes of historical interviews with local people.
It's a tremendous archive of around 18,000 digital images (and growing) and more than 500 oral interviews.
