Evening at the High School

Hot today; I think it reached 86.
We gave our neighbor/tenants as much of the soil from the raised bed I took out last month, and slate tiles that we used to build it. Now they have a raised bed and we have more room around here.
A chair visit with Dianne at the high school, and a front porch visit later to bring her a bag of books and a jigsaw puzzle.
Later, I puzzled over an attempt to draw something with colored pencils while sitting out in the heat. i suppose the heat was part of the problem. In between, during breaks inside the cooler house, read part of a Wendell Berry story to Eric.
Sore knee is making incremental improvements.
