Duck !

I made a model Spitfire for the local village carnival, about fifteen years ago, to mount on the headboard of an artic lorry, that we used for our take on Dad's Army.  I dug it out of the garage and made a bracket to put it on our gatepost, for VE Day.
   The wingspan is about 3 1/2 feet and the whole thing is pallet wood and ply. 
   There was quite a bit of interest from the folks, where we live .
