A bit of a struggle!

Bright but very chilly this morning ..... more than a short sleeved tee shirt was required this morning when I was out for a walk.

Fortunately the goslings have plenty of downy feathers, and mum's body to keep them warm.

The loch was rather choppy so family paddles were kept close to the edge where it was easy to climb back onto the grass. It is quite a distance for these little balls of feathers to cross from one side of the loch to the other.
