Covid cut

Mike's hair bordering on the ridiculous so I attempted a Covid haircut. In my defence his hair doesn't 'part' anywhere, just grows in random directions all over his head and he has a double crown so it was quite difficult. Anyway I thought I'd practice on him before I do Toby's.

Woke up silly early worrying about Jack having too much grass in his new field. He's very sensitive to any changes in his grass and I don't want a repeat of him going footy like last spring. On the brink of getting up to go and get him in then fell asleep again so didn't get to the yard till nearly 9am. He gave me the run around trying to catch him, but I'm stubborn and would not give in. So he's lunged himself this morning and still had to come in!! Anyway he's had a good go on the grass and is still sound so that's good news. He was furious about being taken in for the day.

Rain had eased off so I went out on a hack with Georgia on Buddy. Did a bridlepath I'd not done in ages and never on Buddy. Both behaved well even though there was lots of VE day bunting flapping in the wind! Off to turn Jack out now and do my afternoon stable jobs, then home to see what Boris has to say.
