Don't Listen. Remember Darwin. Stay Sane
The sky has clouded, and the air temperature has dropped as if someone turned on air conditioning. Going outside today has felt like walking into the frozen food section of the Coop. Such a change from yesterday, and apparently this is just the leading edge of the cold weather to come.
It was hard to go looking for a blip, but I couldn't avoid this one taken in the still sunny morning. It's a Charles Darwin Rose by David Austin. Charles Darwin had a thing or two to offer us on the subject of survival, and there is a reason there are annually given Darwin Awards.
Our so-called government continues to pursue the herd immunity strategy that has put us at the highest death toll in all of Europe. The VE celebrations showed just how good we were at social distancing once a few glasses of bubbly had gone down the gullet. The economy, stupid, does have merit. I don't know how my pension fund is doing but I expect it's better than most and not too healthy even then.
If you're back to work tomorrow, do have a care.
