Rain (and Corona) stops play

Woke up to heavy rain this morning, then high winds, followed by sunshine, and high winds. In a different time, on a day like this we might have stayed at home, but at the moment we have no choice. 
Conscious of not wasting a day off I have baked bread and rolls, gone for a longer run than normal (14km, and building up a couple of km every week to get to half-marathon distance) and tidied up a few things. 
Now waiting until 7pm to hear what Boris has to say, followed by the BBC's take on what Boris said, and then waiting for the pundits tomorrow. All of this will be much easier to understand and to judge with the benefit of hindsight. In the meantime, I hope people follow the guidelines and stay safe.
