Clematis Montana
Crikey what a contrast to yesterday - cold and windy was forecast and cold and windy was what we got. Needless to say, as we are fairweather gardeners, walkers, birdwatchers, in fact anything, we didn’t make it out today apart from a quick wander around the garden earlier today to look for a blip. This is quite difficult for me as we have very little in the way of flowering plants in our garden so far. It’s all leaves and shrubs and trees....
Anyway, this is the clematis Montana that unintentionally grows at the top of one of our large conifers!
I wasn’t surprised by any of Boris’s speech today - pretty much what we all expected I imagine. The only real change for us will be that we will now be officially allowed to drive somewhere else to go birdwatching or walking and be able to stay out as long as we want so long as we are socially distanced which should be quite easy as we are not planning on going anywhere that there will be lots of people.
I have backblipped a blackbird in the sun as I was too lazy to do it yesterday if you have time to take a look.
Stay Alert, Control the Virus, Save Lives - not sure I like this new slogan....
