Pastelligator

These weren't the colors I ordered so I had to use my imagination. Then, to make matters worse, I ran out of green paint.  That's how he became a Purple-headed Pastelligator.  Becky and I had great fun painting and spending the afternoon together!  We drank wine and and laughed a lot. It was almost like being out together but we didn't need a designated driver.  I had a very nice Mother's Day. :-))

I wasn't going to blip this until after it was fired but I decided to do before and after shots  because I drank too much wine and couldn't manage anything else.  I'm always surprised at how much better things look after they've been through the kiln.  Maybe he'll be ready to make another appearance for Silly Saturday.

My mother passed away on Mother's Day 26 years ago.  I am grateful for the years I had with her and for the memories that still make me smile.  I'll never stop missing her.
