Another house

...that I like, on Cornwall Street which has beautiful old homes and pretty gardens. The oldest part of the house supposedly dates to 1765. W. and I took a walk around town this afternoon. There was just a trickle of people about, except for a party going on at one house that involved neighbors going back and forth. Hmmm.... Virginia's rate of new infections is climbing at least in the three northern counties, of which Loudoun is one. 

The extras show a back angle of the house I posted two days ago, and a couple new blooms in our garden: nectaroscordum siculum (Mediterranean Bells), which is really fun to watch slowly burst into its firecracker bloom, and some bright allium which is really bluer than the photo shows.

Had a nice Mother's Day with some funny cards from the kids, breakfast made by W., and good calls with our moms. Hope the week ahead goes as well as it possibly can for you all!
