blanket blip

i've spent much of the past three days under this blanket...

made of colourful crotched squares sewn together...

made by my mother, now 80 years old... and still she crotches colourful squares... her latest blanket was for my granddaughter, little Alice... it's a tradition in the family, we all have our 'grandma blanket' as my daughter named them... they're very warm, colourful and a wonderful reminder of family and traditions and love

glad to say i feel alot better now, but will still be snuggling under the blanket this evening, keeps the winter chills at bay...
