Sunset

Enjoyed a FaceTime session with Tom and Lucy this afternoon, a rare occasion for the three of us to chat together.

Joined MrM for a very short walk this evening, up the footpath as far as the Humbleton road, and back down again. Quite far enough with an icy wind blowing in our faces! As we approached the top of the path the sun was going down behind the hill. 

Once back home, we caught up with Boris Johnson's speech on the new lockdown rules. 'Stay alert, control the virus, save lives.' Oh dear, he really is the master of mixed messages and waffle. All seems to be going back to a herd-immunity strategy, which neither MrM nor I are keen to follow. So we'll continue to stay at home until after the inevitable second wave, and thank our lucky stars that we don't have go to a "Covid-secure" workplace.
