Saturday tea

I have bread flour! No plain flour to be had, but the local shop had bread flour. This focaccia didn't turn out perfectly, I overcooked it a bit, but it looked good before it went in the oven!

I have given up trying for a delivery slot on Tesco's site.  All this staying awake till late, going on line at 11.45ish, the mounting tension, the queueing, hoping you don't lose the Internet connection, waiting until they release the slots, will there or won't there be any left, finally getting on the site and seeing that they are all gone - at two minutes past midnight!!

Not conducive to a good night's sleep!  There are some things the village shop just doesn't stock, but luckily we have friends with Tesco's delivery slots, nice, kind friends, who let us tag things onto their orders! Jars of rhubarb jam and eggs are the bartering items at the moment!
