It must have worked since I have been cursed, on and off, since 1987. When travelling in Peru, Bolivia and Columbia at that time, I photographed many children as well as adults because I wanted to come home with some kind of a record of the people, lovely as many of the landscapes were. And these are the pictures I treasure the most.
