MM - High Key

I like both high and low key photography and I think much depends on the subject as to which one you use.  For a long time all my mono images were very low key because that's what I liked but now I also like the light ethereal quality of high key. Some photographers always seem to get such perfect tones in their mono shots but for me that can be a bit hit and miss -  sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.  

There's been a cold wind today which is why I was surprised to see this insect but he wasn't moving quickly so my shot was soon in the bag.
