Edward's Go-carting Party

We are decorating. Our son, Edward, moved out from home last summer into his own flat leaving a large room behind. I soon decided that I would take over this space for all my camera 'stuff' but it did need decorating. We are at home now for the lockdown so bought the paint to get going. It's still taken us several weeks to make a start though.

The old wallpaper has been stripped off revealing the marks we left when we decorated it last time in August 2000 so a long time ago! Edward, at the age of 7 then, also wrote on the wall 'Edwards Go-Carting Party' as he had done that for his birthday party. This has all remained hidden under the paper until today.

Long time ago now. Soon to be painted white and filled with tripods and other photographic paraphernalia. It may never be decorated again by us.
