The ropey

In the woods close to where we live is a stream where it’s good to play. A few years back, someone put up a rope swing and it has endured well in many different guises. At the moment, it has a swing seat attached which makes it particularly easy to use.
I have very fond memories of a similar “ropey” over a stream from when I was a little girl so I’m pleased my step-daughter can form her own happy memories from such simple pleasures too.
