Mothers Day......

.....someone has been removing the blackout paint from the gable-end of the old wine and spirit merchant at the Easter Road of Brunswick Road. An old advert for Tennent's Piper Export has appeared (low strength session beer from the 60's and 70's).
I remember the canned product with a variety of kilted pipers on the side; presumably to collect?.....a variation on the Tennent's Lager Lovelies perhaps?

My cousin Jackie who has lived in Perth, Oz for 20+ years used to live in the flats next door.
