From Striding Out.......

...... to worn out.

We made a chocolate cake today.  Then we went for a walk, before coming back to put the filling in the cake.

Despite a colder morning, 13c, it seemed warmer today, when we went for a walk.

After lunch Mia fell asleep, watching The Gruffalo.

So, Isabella and I spent time, practicing her writing.  She then found a box of wooden numbers.  She laid them all out randomly and told me what they all were.

We then found a box of wooden letters, and played games with them.

I had an idea of writing down all the Disney characters in alphabetical order.  But then we had to go into one of the spare rooms to look at dvds to find some names.

She found the dvds she wanted, and then spotted the boxes of photos.

She was very interested in all the people in the photos.  All of whom she's never met.

She found a photo of me at my nephew's wedding, and said I didn't look like that now.  Well, it was 18 years ago!!
