Tiny Tuesday - Hirsute

I picked a little bit of this plant because I liked the green and red together.  When I got it back to the office and took a few shots I realised I loved those hairy windmill arms even more ; o) they looked like they were moving around to me! :o). Scattered around it are bits of the yellow stamens of the Illyarrie flower from months ago which seem to keep their colour forever!

Sunset tonight was filled with smoke from a controlled burn further south which has blown up to us!  Outside at the moment is thick bush smoke, quite choking and very unpleasant!! A shot from the kitchen window of the smoke just starting to come through in extras!
