A day in the kitchen.

After a good long lie in i woke to a very windy day. I didn't much fancy going out so i decided to have an afternoon of cooking. I might live on my own but i enjoy thumbing through my Good Food mag and trying new things even if there is only me to tuck in. I do miss having someone to practice on. :-(
Anyway, this is chicken, ginger and green bean hot pot with steamed rice followed by a vanilla cupcake. I have to say it was very good and all got washed down nicely with a cold glass of white wine. Now to settle back and watch a film with my two little furry companions. :-))
