Bowsprit and mountings

Well a proper boat needs a bowsprit!

Tidying up prior to painting the decks and so I needed to sort out the mountings for the bowsprit so that I could mark them out and leave the bare wood for gluing them on later.
The hoop like piece is called a gammon iron and the dark wooden piece is possibly called a trunnion or bitts despite there only being one.
