Hawthorn

A mixed day today. Still quite cool but sunny until late afternoon when it became overcast and quite windy and then rain this evening which wasn’t expected.
The hawthorn blossom was looking quite stunning in this morning’s sun. They say ‘ne’er cast a clout ‘til May be oot’ meaning the May or hawthorn blossom but I think I’ll wait a bit longer as the forecast is for some more colder weather this week.
